Beach hopping on Maui

Maui was phenomenal.  Absolutely phenomenal.  It was laid back, beautiful, and if you were stuck in traffic then there was usually a beach on the side of the road where you could wait it out.  Also.  The fruit.  Good god the fruit.  I had the best pineapples and mangoes of my entire life while I was there.  These hippies set up shop on the side of the road and sell fruit and fresh smoothies out of their vans and it is WELL worth the stop.  I had a smoothie every day that I was there and by far my favorite was the papaya with lime.
We went to several beaches while we were there but Makena (muh-ken-uh) was by far the best.
The little beach across from our hotel

Wailea.  The winds chased os off of this one after about ten minutes.
